Our Story

At House of Furs Grooming Lounge, we believe every pet deserves to feel comfortable, cared for, and loved. Our passion for animals goes beyond helping them look their best. We strive to create a positive experience where pets can receive attentive care while their owners enjoy peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in good hands.

Our journey began in 2005, when our founder discovered a love for pet styling that would grow into a lifelong passion. Over the years, working with animals has taught us that great pet care requires more than technical skill. It takes patience, compassion, and an understanding of each animal’s unique personality. These values continue to guide the way we approach our work and connect with the pets entrusted to us.

In 2016, that passion inspired the founding of House of Furs Grooming Lounge. What started as a love for pet styling became an opportunity to build a welcoming environment for pets and their people. Since opening our doors, we have focused on creating a space where every animal receives thoughtful attention and every client feels valued. We also enjoy mentoring fellow animal lovers and sharing the rewarding experiences that make working with pets so special.

We understand that no two pets are exactly alike. Some are excited for their grooming appointments, while others may need extra reassurance before they feel at ease. Puppies experiencing their first grooming session, energetic pets, and senior animals with changing needs all deserve an approach that considers their comfort and individual circumstances. By taking the time to get to know each pet, we can provide care that respects their needs and helps make each visit a more positive experience.

Our team is proud to serve pet owners throughout the Belton and Temple communities and surrounding areas, including Harker Heights and Salado. We believe quality pet care should be accessible and welcoming, which is why we strive to balance professional results with affordable pricing and friendly service. Whether a pet needs routine upkeep or a little extra attention, we approach every appointment with the same commitment to kindness and care.

At House of Furs Grooming Lounge, we are grateful for the opportunity to be part of your pet’s life. The trust you place in us means everything, and we work hard to make every visit reflect the love we have for animals. We look forward to welcoming you and your furry companion into our grooming family, where caring hands, a patient approach, and a genuine passion for pets come together.

FAQ

What types of pets do you groom

House of Furs Grooming Lounge provides grooming services for both dogs and cats. We tailor our approach to each pet’s coat, needs, and comfort level to help make every visit a positive experience.

How often should my pet be groomed?

Grooming frequency depends on your pet’s breed, coat type, lifestyle, and individual needs. Some pets benefit from grooming every four to six weeks, while others may need more or less frequent appointments. We can help you determine a suitable routine for your furry companion.

Do you groom puppies and senior pets?

Yes! We understand that puppies may be experiencing grooming for the first time and that senior pets may need extra patience and attention. We strive to make each appointment as comfortable as possible by considering your pet’s age, personality, and needs.

Can you help with excessive shedding?

Yes! Our deshedding services help remove loose hair from your pet’s coat and reduce the amount of fur left around your home. Regular brushing and appropriate grooming can also help maintain a healthier-looking coat.

Why should I choose House of Furs Grooming Lounge?

We combine a genuine love for animals with personalized attention, professional grooming, and affordable pricing. Since 2016, our goal has been to create a welcoming environment where pets receive patient, thoughtful care and owners feel confident leaving their furry family members with us.
